TARGETS OF PROJECT

General Targets: By making a cooperation with sector representatives, standards suggested in Strengthening the Vocational Education and Training System in Turkey (MEGEP) modules and Vocational Efficiency Institution standards are reviewed and compared with the state of the art technology techniques used in the sector and e-learning materials describing the recently developed techniques thereby increasing the quality of vocational education.

 Special Target: To prepare 500 e-learning materials containing the contents which can be used by those who cannot hear in line with technique and recent technology standards suggested by MEGEP modules and MYK formed by instructors of 8 different professions and having the most numerous students particularly but not limited to Bafra, in TR 83 Zone, 

By enriching the learning environments with e-materials thereby making their use more common.

To increase the information exchange and cooperation facilities between vocational and technical schools and private sector. 

To increase the employment facilities of graduates of vocational education focusing the expectation of the relevant sector.

To contribute to the life long learning processes of those students who were graduated from technical training via remote learning. 

 

 

TARGET GROUPS

Instructors, experts, and students studying, recently graduates and prior graduates, experts in private sector, masters, foremen, novices, workers, those interested in LLP, as well as those deaf individuals and students in vocational and technical education institutions in TR 83 ZONE

 

MAJOR ACTIVITIES AND RESULTS ACTIVITIES:

  1. Procurement of project team and office, procurement transactions
  2. Inauguration and closure meetings demonstrating the project
  3. Opening the interactive web site
  4. Formation of e-material matters by selection board
  5. Formation of e-material inspection committee and inspection activities
  6. Preparation of e-materials
  7. Uploading the e-material approved on the web site.
  8. Pilot applications and information meetings
  9. Innovative approaches in vocational education seminar
  10. Preparation and distribution of education kits
  11. Interim and final audit reporting
  12. Visibility activities

 

RESULTS:

  1. Project team and office have been formed.
  2. Project inauguration meeting has been held and great masses have been informed.
  3. Interactive web site has been prepared and published.
  4. Selection board of e-materials containing sector representatives, experts and instructors has been formed and MEGEP modules as well as MYK standards have been analyzed and e-materials have been determined with compliant methods.
  5. E-material analysis committee has been formed. 
  6. Those experts and instructors to prepare e-materials have been determined and studies have been planned.
  7. 500 e-materials which can be used by deaf persons have been prepared within 6 months.
  8. Those e-materials prepared have been uploaded on the web site.
  9. Information meetings have been held in the schools where pilot application will be employed. 
  10. Pilot applications have been performed and questionnaires have been done and they have been evaluated.
  11. The seminar of innovative approaches in vocational education has been delivered.
  12. Training kits have been prepared and distributed to the relevant schools and learning environments.
  13. Interim and final reporting and audit of the project have been done.
  14. By holding project closure meeting, the project outputs have been demonstrated to numerous people. 
  15. With the vocational education applied according to the expectations of the sector, employment possibility of those graduates has been increased.
  16. With the project, sector-school cooperation has been established and education-employment relation has been strengthened.
  17. Strong relations have been established between supply and demand by combining the participating schools and participating companies.
  18. In the vocational and technical education, e-material use has become wider and learning environments have been enriched.
  19. Vocational education has been updated and quality has been increased.

Project team including 7 persons

E-material selection board containing at least 30 persons

E-material preparation team containing at least 19 persons

Analysis committee containing 5 persons

Procurement for 1 video taking and assembly

1 fully equipped project office

1 interactive web site including e-materials  

500 e-materials prepared

160 education kits

1 seminar 2 speakers

2 inauguration and closure meetings

Information meetings in 10 pilot application schools 

10 pilot schools where application will be done

For disclosure of techniques, appropriate production environments or workplaces
